WCHC's Physical Therapy Department coordinates inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapy. Physical Therapists provide evaluation and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, neurological, and functional impairments. Services are directed at functionally improving the patient, so they are able to return to their pre-hospitalized setting.
Physical therapy is also actively involved in the discharge process and assists in identifying the needs of the patient to return to activities of daily living.
